A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged after the drugs were found in Stranraer.
Cannabis with a street value of nearly £40,000 has been found in a Scots town.
A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged following the discovery of the drugs in Stranraer on Monday.
He was due to appear at the town’s sheriff court on Tuesday, with cops submitting a report to the procurator fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “A 43-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with drugs offences in Stranraer.

“Around 11.15am on Monday, March 17, officers acting under warrant attended an address in the Oakland Avenue area.
“A quantity of cannabis was recovered with an estimated street value of £38,000.
“The 43-year-old man was expected to appear at Stranraer Sheriff Court on Tuesday, March 18.
“A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
