Nathan Few sadly died in hospital from injuries suffered in a devastating three-vehicle smash on the B977 near Banchory.
Tributes have been paid to a loving Scots dad who was tragically killed in a horror crash in Aberdeenshire.
Nathan Few sadly died in hospital from injuries suffered in a devastating three-vehicle smash on the B977 near Banchory. The collision involved a grey Triumph motorcycle, a grey Citroen Berlingo van, and a grey Toyota C-HR car.
Nathan, the rider of the motorcycle, was rushed to hospital after the incident which happened around 2pm on Tuesday, March 25. He later died from his injuries.
Nathan, from the Kintore area, has been described by devastated loved ones as a “loving family man who loved spending time with his kids.” They added that the 35-year-old “lived life to the full”.
Road cops are continuing to appeal for information following the fatal crash. The occupants of the car and the van were not injured.
Officers say they are keen to speak with two drivers who were in the area at the time and may have witnessed the crash or may have spotted the vehicles involved shortly before the crash.
The road was closed down for eight hours as traffic police officers launched an investigation into the fatal smash. The road reopened around 10pm.
A statement from Police Scotland reads: “Road policing officers are continuing to appeal for information following a fatal crash in Aberdeenshire.
“The incident happened around 2pm on Tuesday, 25 March, on the B977 near Banchory and involved a grey Triumph motorcycle, a grey Citroen Berlingo van, and a grey Toyota C-HR car.
“The rider of the motorcycle was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
“He has been named as Nathan Few from the Kintore area.
“His family has asked for privacy and has released the following statement: “Nathan was a loving family man who loved spending time with his kids. He lived life to the full.”
“The occupants of the car and van were not injured.
“The road was closed to allow for a full collision investigation and reopened around 10pm.
“Officers are keen to speak with two drivers who were in the area at the time and may have witnessed the crash or the vehicles involved shortly before the crash.”
Sergeant Alexander Bowser-Riley, from the Inverurie Road Policing Unit, added: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Few at this very difficult time.
“We are continuing to appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
“In particular, we would like to speak to the drivers of a small grey car and a blue van seen in the area around the time of the crash. They may have seen the vehicles involved shortly beforehand and could hold information that is important to our enquiries.
