Police Scotland has been approached for comment. It comes after a huge fire burned down a business park in an unrelated incident in Inverness.
A probe is underway after a car was deliberately driven into the Fairways Leisure Park and torched. A Skoda Octavia was driven into a building at the business park shortly after midnight on Sunday.
The premises and car were then set alight causing significant damage. A man wearing dark clothing and a balaclava was spotted running away from the scene.
Police have launched a probe into the incident and say they are looking to speak to the occupants of a white pick up truck seen in the area at the time.
A significant emergency service response was dispatched to the scene. Six appliances were sent with crews battling the inferno from height to stop the flames spreading.
Fire crews battled until 3am to bring the fire under control. Police officers, ambulance crews and workers from SSE Electricity were also on scene for nearly three hours. There were no reports of any injuries, police have said.
The building is shared by a number of local businesses. It is understood a hair salon, bakery, travel agent and fishmongers are amongst those affected.
Photographs taken on Sunday morning revealed the level of devastation caused by the fire. A burnt-out silver motor could be seen hanging out of the front of the destroyed building.
