Luxury hotel set to open in Burleigh

LUXURY hotel chain Mondrian will open its first Australian property when its opens a 208-room beachfront hotel at Burleigh Heads next year.

The Mondrian Gold Coast, at 48-58 The Esplanade, Burleigh Heads, is well on the way to completion with top tier builder Hutchisons appointed by Brisbane developer Vitale Property Group,

The 24-floor dual-tower development will feature multiple restaurants, a state-of-the-art fitness centre, day spa, and  a pool club, all overlooking the world-famous Burleigh Heads beach.

Mondrian has 11 luxury hotels under its brand with properties based in top destinations such as Cannes, Ibiza, Los Angeles, Bordeaux, Singapore, Hong Kong and Miami.

The five-star hotel is slated set to open its doors early next year. It will join a rush of 5-star hotels planned to open on the Gold Coast within the next few years.

Marriott International has confirmed that a 122-room Luxury Collection Resort will open at The Spit in 2027. Marriott also intends to open a Ritz Carlton hotel at the neighbouring Mariner’s Cove site.
