Urgent search for missing pensioner last seen in Scots village

Police have launched an appeal to help trace a missing pensioner who disappeared from a village near Elgin.

James Doull, 75, was last seen around 1pm on Saturday, March 29, in the Clashlands Drive area of Lhanbryde.

He is described as white, around 5ft 2ins tall, of slim build, with balding grey hair, a grey beard, and glasses. He was last seen wearing a pale blue jacket, khaki green cargo trousers, and green and white trainers.

Sergeant Peter Campbell said: “Concerns are growing for his welfare. James can be unsteady on his feet, and we need to make sure he is safe and well.

“We’re asking locals to keep an eye out and check sheds or outbuildings in case he has sought shelter.

“If anyone spots him or has any information, please contact us immediately.”
