Virgin Australia is responding to an incident after a flight that landed in Fiji today.
The airline would not comment on any details about what had occurred.
A spokesperson said the airline was aware of an incident.
They said Virgin Australia’s focus was on the welfare of the team members affected.
“Out of respect for our crew we will not be providing further comment.”
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it was aware of reports about the incident.
“Owing to our privacy obligations we are unable to provide further comment,” a spokesperson said.
At least three Virgin flights landed in Fiji from Australia today, taking off from Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
The three flights all landed in the city of Nadi this afternoon.
